Summer’s over, but don’t mourn those long sunny days at the beach just yet–we’re here to convince you that fall is the best season of all for romance! Why, you wonder? Glad you asked…
No sweat (unless you want to).
No more 90-degree days! No more having to peel off your bra when you get home, or air-dry in front of the fan. The only time you need to be sweaty in fall is when you and your new man are re-enacting a scene from your favorite romance.
Fall clothes are the best! Awesome boots, fun colored tights, and just enough layers to hide the occasional bulge without needing a giant puffy coat that makes you look like the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man.
Yes, the 4th of July was fun, and Labor Day weekend is great and all, but ask most people about their favorite holidays and they’ll land somewhere in the trifecta of Halloween-Thanksgiving-Christmas. Full of good eats and good company (whether that’s family or friends), starting in October the year just seems to slide into a whirlwind of parties, perfect for showing off your love…or finding a new one!
What’s the fun of having a gorgeous date when it’s so hot you can’t bear to get skin-to-skin? But when there’s a chill in the air, nothing’s better than slipping into the nook between a strong arm and a broad chest and soaking up all that sweet, sweet body heat. (Bonus: putting your icy feet against your partner’s exposed skin. How high will they jump?)
Buying books when you’re supposed to be buying gifts.
All those fall holidays are leading to gift-giving aplenty, and the more prepared you are, the earlier you start shopping. And don’t you deserve a reward for being so organized? That must be why you’re picking up a new book every time you cross someone off your list. Hey, you do you–we’re not here to judge.
