As far as holiday treats go, I think the holidays are all about making and sharing with family and friends. My mom and I make a dozen treats and assemble bins to pass around. My favorite from the bin is a no bake bar with peanut butter and rice cereal. YUM! I can’t wait!

    I honestly can’t think of a favorite holiday book. Movie, yes. Song, yes. I suppose “A Christmas Carol,” although I’m not sure I ever read the book. I did appear in it in a school play, and I’ve heard Patrick Stewart recite it. So let’s go with that. As for holiday dessert, anything with peppermint! I make several different cookie recipes that use peppermint.

  169. my favorite holiday book to read is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. I read it every season. My favorite holiday treat is my Mom’s Monkey bread. She only makes it for Christmas morning when we are all together for the holiday.

    Picking a favorite book, whether it be a holiday book, a curl up on a rainy day book, a just because I want to book or any other reason to read a book book is almost an impossible feat indeed! I could not even limit it to a favorite author!! Now dessert related favorites can be difficult to choose also, however, I would pick pumpkin roll! It’s holiday and it’s absolutely fabulous, so I pick that!! On the book front, I honestly don’t think I could pick something!

    My favorite holiday book is any romance by one of my favorite authors that has a Christmas theme in it like “Kisses, She Wrote” by Katharine Ashe or “Once Upon a Winter’s Eve” by Tessa Dare. My favorite holiday dessert would probably have to be the chocolate haystacks my grandma makes.
