In honor of the fast-approaching Valentine’s Day we asked our lovely XOXperts to share their top romance reads that put them in the mood for love! Check out what Chrissy F. just can’t live without this month!
Looking for some awesome romance books to read this February? Here’s my recent favorites that range from steamy, sweet, swoon-worthy, and laugh out loud funny. There’s something for everyone here in my list, and I hope you enjoy these reads as much as I did!
Appealed by Emma Chase:
Appealed is the last book in the Legal Briefs series and was one of my favorite reads this year so far. This book has everything, second chance romance, a guy you can’t help but fall in love with, and some definite LOL moments. Appealed can be read as a stand-alone, but to fully enjoy this story and the epilogue, I suggest reading Overruled and Sustained first!
Dirty Tricks by Emma Hart:
The last book in the Burke Brother’s series and I couldn’t stop laughing, or falling for Kye Burke in this book. It has a sexy rocker, a strong female lead who refuses to give in, and some definitely sexy scenes. Kye and Chelsey will have you laughing out loud and falling in love. The banter between these two is amazing, and the story just left me with so many “feels”.
Sweet Ruin by Kresley Cole:
Looking for some paranormal romance? This is the book for you! prior to this book I had not read any of the other stories in the Immortals After Dark series and am dying to go back and read them now. There’s suspense, different realms, and so much more in this book. Rune and Jo’s story is full of angst, steam, and a ton of chemistry. I couldn’t put this book down!
Playing With Fire by Kate Meader:
Sexy Mayor? Check! Firewoman who doesn’t take any prisoners? Check! Playing with Fire is one hot and sexy read. A Love/Hate story for the ages? Double Check! Alex and Eli’s story is steamy, sexy, funny, angsty, and full of amazing twists and turns! It’s definitely HOT! This book played out like a movie right before my eyes. The writing is amazing, and the story-line is just gripping. I fell in love with Eli, and then I hated him, and then I loved him all over again. Alex’s characters is equally amazing in her strong bull headed ways, and her passion she has for her job, and how she doesn’t let others run her life. There is definitely some spark and sizzle between Eli and Alex and their story was one I was unable to put down.
Perfectly Imperfect by Harper Sloan:
This was a surprise read for me and ended up being one of my favorite reads of 2015. Willow reminds me so much of each and every one of us, and you can’t help but fall in love with her. This story is beautifully written and an amazing love story. Not only did Willow learn to love herself, but she also found someone who loved her for who she was. This is one emotional read and leaves you feeling amazing once you finish it.
