Romance writer and author of the new eBook LIE IN THE MOMENT Nicole Camden stopped by XOXOAD to tell us what she finds most attractive in a man. Read along to find out!
You know what’s really sexy? No, not six-packs and deliciously ripped lower ab muscles descending into a pair of open jeans…wait. Ok, those are sexy, but I’m talking long-term sexy, the kind of sexy that still works when absolutely the last thing on earth you want to do is have sex. Like when you have an infant.
I’ll tell you:
People who are capable and dependable. They are sexy as hell. Men, women, you name it.
That’s right, I said it. Protest all you want. I would have disagreed in my single days. I dated this absolutely gorgeous water polo player with all the depth and dependability of a dust pan full of hair. When he was naked, I didn’t care about that. But when my car broke down on the way home from work, and he “forgot” to come and pick me up (read: got high instead), I wasn’t thinking about those abs. It still took me months to break up with him.
In LIE IN THE MOMENT, the final book in my Billionaire Tricksters of Boston series, coming out this month, my favorite thing about Roland Chandler is that he is the most capable man on the planet. Of course, it helps that he is wealthier than two sheiks and smart as a whip, but still, he’s a man that you can trust to get the job done. Any job. Wink. Wink. (I know, not even subtle).
Of course, he’s a total liar and devious to boot, but you can depend on him. And he does have six pack abs and those lean muscles that curve down from sharp muscles toward…
Well, it is an erotic romance novel.
I think the reason I was so taken with his capable nature has to do with the fact that I had so much trouble writing this book. My beautiful son was born when I was about halfway through it, and I finally finished it as he slept (sometimes) in his crib upstairs. I’ve never done anything so bloody difficult in my life. Praise to all those writers who complete books with babies—it darn near killed me. I wanted someone to come and run my house while I took a nap.
Though, come to think of it, by my definition, grandmothers are the sexiest people on the planet.
I hope you enjoy the exploits of Roland and the fiery detective—Maura—who refuses to trust him, no matter how she is tempted. And if you haven’t read the first book in this series, THE LADY VANISHES, it’s only $1.99 on Amazon all month long. Please Visit my website www.dnmoss.com for updates, giveaways, and more!
