  1. The best piece of style advice would be be comfortable and be true to yourself.

  2. I always fall back on the words of Coco Chanel… “When putting on accessories, take off the last thing you’ve put on.” AND “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.”

To have decent fashion when living on a budget it’s best to mix & match multiple items that are interchangeable. Also choose things that can be dressed up or down with a quick change of accessories or eyeliner.

Only get black or white clothes for work, you can get the most combinations out of it.

  15. wear what makes you happy

  16. It’s a tie between: “Wear whatever makes you happy” and “don’t wear spots and stripes in the same outfit.”

  17. Always wear an undershirt because you never know when a shirt can be see through in bright light.

It’s ok to spend a little extra on clothes you love or fit perfectly because you will wear them often. For years, I only bought clothes on sale and they ended being donated after sitting in the closet unworn.
