As any voracious reader knows, there are so many books out there, it can be hard to choose just what to read next. So what could be better than a hand-picked recommendation from someone in the know? Every Wednesday the XOXOAD team likes to find out what some of its favorite authors are reading; today we’ve asked Mina Vaughn, author of the saucy How to Punish Your Playboy to tell us her steamy reading picks!
Hi there, I’m so excited to be talking about what I’m reading today! It’s been an awesome few months for releases and I can safely say that my picks are steaming up this spring for sure!
My first pick is in the TBR pile and it’s from one of my FAVORITE authors ever– Helena Hunting. Her newest, PUCKED, has been on my radar since its announcement. A story from Helena that’s about a sexy hockey player? Check! Chock full of quirky hilarity? Bring it ON! If you liked her Clipped Wings series or the super steamy and fun The Librarian Principal, you NEED to put Pucked on your TBR.
My second pick, following the funny theme is Debra Anastasia’s FIRE DOWN BELOW. It should come with a few warnings, such as don’t be eating or drinking something while reading it because you may choke to death laughing. This book is raw, raunchy as hell and quite possibly the most absurdly gross romance you’ll ever read, but it’s so worth the ride. Get ready for a big bunch of giggles for this one!
The last book on my list is BROKEN JULIET from Leisa Rayven. BAD ROMEO was amazing and I really can’t wait for BROKEN JULIET to continue the drama– no pun intended. I was in theatre in high school with a SUPER hot guy, so this story resonated with me so deeply I couldn’t put the first book down.
So there it is, my three picks for this Spring! Hope you pick them up, too!
